Description of Events
Opening Ceremony
9:00AM
Let’s kick things off with a bang! Head on over to Canopy Hall to hear the opening statements of Foley Gaming Con 2026, after which, the Gulf Coast Saber Training Group will put on a brief laser saber choreography performance.
Early admission for the opening ceremony in Canopy Hall will begin at 8:30AM at the library’s southside entrance. Neither the library nor Foley Gaming Con will be open during this time.
Scavenger Hunt and Raffle
9:00AM-12:30PM
Tally ho! Head to the lobby and grab a scavenger hunt card from the downstairs Circulation Desk. From there, your mission objective is to scour the library and look for cardboard cutouts of different pop culture characters, documenting where you find them.
Once you complete the scavenger hunt, you can return your card to the Circulation Desk for a chance to win hourly raffles that will be called throughout the day over the intercom! Additionally, all participants in the scavenger hunt — regardless of whether they won an hourly prize or not — will have a chance to win a grand raffle basket at the end of the convention!
All cards must be completed by 12:45PM on Saturday, September 12th to be eligible for the grand raffle basket.
The raffle winner will be announced at the end of the convention (1:00PM). You must be present at the library to receive the prize if your name is drawn.
Photos with the 501st Legion
9:30AM & 12:00PM
Members from the 501st Legion, an international costuming organization dedicated to celebrating Star Wars through quality costuming, will be available for photo opportunities at various times and locations throughout the con!
They will be stationed in Canopy Hall from 9:30-10:50 and then in the lobby from 12:00-12:50! From 11:00-12:00, you’ll find them roaming around the con! Don’t hesitate to stop and grab them for a photo!
Story Times
10:00AM & 12:00PM
Join Mrs. Erin and Ms. Ashley in the Children’s Storygrove for two special Gaming Con themed story times at 10:00 and 12:00! Caregivers must stay with their children throughout the duration of story time. No registration is required.

Dungeons & Dragons: Adventurers League
10:00AM, 11:00AM, & 12:00PM
Adventurers! Join a party, battle ferocious foes, and traverse distant lands at our Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) rooms where experienced Dungeon Masters (DMs) await you.
There will be three regular sessions throughout the convention:
-
Session 1 (10:00AM-10:50AM)
-
Session 2 (11:00AM-11:50AM)
-
Session 3 (12:00PM-12:50PM)
Each session will feature a different one-shot Adventurers League-style campaign that can be completed within an hour, so you don’t have to be present at every session! We also have multiple DMs for every session, who each have their own private study room to run their campaigns during the con.
Space is limited, so be sure to sign up for which sessions you would like to attend. Walk-in registrations on September 12th will be available all-day depending on space.
Whether you register online or in-person, check-in with the designated D&D registration staff member upstairs.

Dungeons & Dragons Homebrew Campaign: Night at Blackglass Manor
10:00AM-1:00PM
Join Erin Weber from A Beard’s Tale for a special homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaign in the boardroom from 10:00-1:00PM. Whether you register online or in-person, check-in with the designated D&D registration staff member upstairs.
Description:
“The party members each receive a mysterious invitation to a dinner party at Blackglass Manor, but this night proves to be much more than any of them would ever expect. Can they survive long enough to discover the secrets of this place?”
